The Nature Explore Classroom

at Laurie’s Inn

2nd Year Certification

Laurie's Inn in Casper, Wyoming is celebrating
their 3rd year as a certified Nature Explore Classroom.

On June 4th, Laurie’s Inn, hosted a garden planting party and BBQ for parents and families. During this event, three garden helpers volunteered for the growing season and many more were inspired to start gardens of their own.

Three trees were planted this year in addition to numerous flowers, herbs and vegetables. New stepping stone pavers zig-zag up the hill to create an interesting path to the Tee Pee. A magical “fairy glen” space was added this year and is highlighted with a small, wooden bridge. The Worm Village area has been revamped to include a pine worm composter. In Big Sky Country, Laura Stadtfeld’s children enjoy sunshine on their face and wind in their hair each day.
